We had a canny time here! Staff were brilliant, proper helpful, and the location was mint—so close to the beaches and nightlife. The rooftop pool was great for a chill after exploring, but the shower in the room flooded a bit, which was a pain.

The staff was really accommodating! ! They gave me great tips on where to find the best local food and bars. I enjoyed the rooftop pool, though it’s more of a hot tub than a pool, but still nice for a chill out after the party.

It’s not cheap but still not a bad deal for what you get.

The location of Flamingo Hotel Malta impressed me right away. It’s very central, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants and shops without being overwhelmed by noise. I loved the breakfast options. it was nice and cheap. Breakfast included good coffee, which I enjoyed every morning. Unfortunately, the stay had its downsides. The shower only had a see-through curtain, lacking actual privacy, a detail not clear in the photos or description. The pool was out of service during my visit, and I would have expected that information to be highlighted when filtering search results. The staff seemed friendly, but they lacked useful local knowledge and didn’t provide helpful advice about attractions or even maps. They essentially didn’t have much information available.

The shower leaks are annoying—water tends to pool up wherever it can, and the whole see-through curtain situation doesn’t scream privacy. The elevator is a real pain. it's slow and unreliable, making trips to upper floors a hassle. the pool is significantly smaller than advertised, more of a large hot tub than a proper swimming area. Noise from the nearby nightlife, while lively, is definitely noticeable at night and may trouble light sleepers. not having a toilet on the same level as the pool seems like a miss.

The vibrant atmosphere around the hotel is fantastic, with numerous restaurants and nightspots nearby. The rooftop pool is a great spot for relaxation, and the staff's restaurant recommendations were top-notch (definitely don’t miss the fish place! ).

Noise levels can be a concern during busy nights, particularly with young crowds lingering outside.

The location was perfect. so close to St Julians food area and just a short walk to the promenade with stunning views. breakfast was simple but always fresh and tasty.
